Class 6 St Lawrence

Our class and class7 are doing a pantomime.  We have picked  some  parts and learnt  some songs.

 I’m am looking forward to getting my part  and doing the performance in front of all the adults.

Things you need to know about ART. (So it couldn’t have been written by me - Mrs S)

On Friday the 16th November class 6 had a fund raising day. We dressed up as what we wanted to be when we were older. I dressed up as a hairdresser. We also had a bake sale and sold all the cakes we had made. And we drew a huge Pudsey Bear on the playground and filled it with coins. Overall we raised a whooping £300.50 .Class 6 decided to send half the money to Hope House and the other half to Children In Need.

During this week, we have been telling stories about an ending of one of the tales of robin hood.Some of us got to record our versions on audacity, it was really hard because we had’nt written it down.

We’ve braved the elements and had a great time learning how to read co-ordinates the fun way - by orienteering in Cardingmill Valley.

IF you want to write about farm animals put it on the bit which says add titles.Then on the other bit say what farm animals you want.Then go on new slide then write down one of the animals you listed.

In our i.c.t lesson, we were doing hyper-links on powerpoint. What you do is highlight the word that you want to hyper link,then you go to insert on the top toolbar, and look down the list until you see HyPERLINK. Then, on the side you will see place in this document, then you chose which slide you want to hyper link to.Then,you press OK.

In our class, we have been doing posters of information to do with the Indus valley. They have all been to do with questions: what is an archaeologist?, what are seals? , where is the Indus valley?

Many people have many different opinions on why the people from the Indus Valleyy disappeared, but I thinK that it was floods. whats your opinion ?
