Our class have been going round town lately (in the rain) and we have been surveying people about plastic bags becuase we want to help the enviroment as Im sure most of you do. Now that we have got the result we know that the majority of people want a plastic bag recycling point in Church Stretton, so we have been sending letters to try and get one.  So if we do manage to get a plastic bag recycling point please can you use it.

In geography we have been trying to find out if the people of Church stretton recycle or reuse their plastic bags.We also tryed to find out if they wanted Church stretton to go plastic  bag free zone or at least a recycling point outside the Co-op.Â
On Wednesday 19th of June we went into town and asked members of public what they thought about recycliing.
We found out that 76% of the people we asked thought it would be a good idea if Church stretton plastic bag free zone and 82% thought it would be a good idea if we had a plastic bag recycling point.

Class 6 invaded Church Stretton last Wednesday to find out what the general feeling was about recycling in our town. These were some of the questions we asked:
| Do you recycle your paper? |
| Would you agree to paying for plastic bags? |
93% of those surveyed asked for plastic bag recycling facilities here and 97% think shops give out too many plastic bags. Keep watching to find out the full results.
